I don't know what you would practically use it for, but that six monitor stand sure is cool.   Maybe Norton could play five different ball games while he listens to CDs.   It could be like having a Buffalo Wild Wings in your living room!

^^^ I just noticed, is it my imagination or did somebody remove the tweeters? ^^^

Someone seen your post here mentioning your find of these a few weeks back and are flipping them. Good speakers reduced to garage use unless you put a ton of effort into them or money on a re-veneer.

Yeah, somebody here said they were looking for a pair. but I didn't pull the grills in store and see the tweeters gone.   That's way too much money for those in that condition.   I passed on them simply because I didn't want to strip them down.

You got to love when an electronics repair shop states "I turned it on platter moves, I did see strobe flash...no further testing done."  On an $1800 table they want you to buy AS-IS.  Outstanding

So a restoration project?  He is dreaming. $300,  only if it is minty.  Assume it will need to be restored.

I didn't want to strip them down either, so listed them for half of what I sold my other pair for.  They do have the tweeters and sound great. I have had a couple offers on them but no one has pulled the trigger yet.
I would guess the previous owner was that rare bird, a picky audiophile, and put cotton over the tweeter to make them less bright.   But that's just a wild guess.

Well, if they don't sell, I can hook them up to one of my five tvs while watching some baseball. :)

Honestly, I'd be happy to get back what I paid.   But I am curious to see how this one plays out if you will be kind enough to let us know.   Thanks.

Overpriced for local sale, but he could probably get that on eBay.   Boomboxes are hot.
