Moses Sumney  "Aromanticism"    really great album for late night listening.

Love Sculpture  "Blues Helping"    excellent recording and great music   I think it would go better with beer and bourbon than wine lol

Just out of the hot tub, I have "Talking Timbuktu" cranking on the lower deck Polks.  Hope the neighbors like it too....

An amazingly good sounding Classic Records pressing that Tom let me steal from him today (he threw it in the bin, someone had to take it, it might as well have been me).

When I saw the bandsaw cut on this, I was hoping it was a promo and not a cut out.   Turns out it is the rare "secret quiex" promo.   It sounds amazing!   Norton asked me if I was buying it to keep or to flip.   I answered "I'll have to compare it to me existing copy to see which one I'm keeping."   I'm keeping this one.

That Humble Pie Rockin the Fillmore is one of my all time favorite albums. And my favorite "live" album of all time. What an incredible voice, what a amazing band!

Best of the Band, first press, Wally cut.   I got it at the swap, though I can't recall from who.   It sounds great.   Thanks to whoever let this one go.

Rural Tom's AMAZING Track UK first of Electric Ladyland.   Sadly, I am getting ready to bid it adieu.

A gorgeous German reissue of The White Album.   It sounds better than my Blue Box copy, but that is a set and I won't be keeping two stereo copies so this one will make someone else very happy.

Did you ever get the reconstructed "Smile"?   It's become one of my favorite albums.

No, I did not, but once upon a time, a fellow Trader (Beach Boys reference) sent me several bootlegs of various versions of "Smile".   Always a fun listen All Summer Long.

You HAVE to get a copy.   It has passed Pet Sounds as my favorite Beach Boys album.   I watched "Love and Mercy" a couple weeks back and it made me want to kick Mike Love in the nuts.

I've noticed that I never feel the need to adjust the four satellites, and only very rarely the center, but often would turn up or down the sub from album to album.   If I made a HT receiver, I would have little buttons for center and sub volume on the remote as well as the big button for system volume.

Remember way back when I said this?   I didn't know it when I selected the Onkyo, but it turns out that the remote has a "quick menu" button that let's you get to key features without having to go through the whole menu.   Two of those features are center and sub level.   How VERY cool!

Anyone here who likes The Flaming Lips HAS TO come to my house and hear it in surround.   It's akin to a religious experience.   The mix is daring, the fidelity absolutely crushes the stereo version and my new Onkyo did exactly what I hoped it would do when I bought it.   All of those bells and electronic percussion have a lovely sparkle to them that was lacking before.
