Title: AR2-Ax refoam done!
Post by: Fairchance on February 05, 2011, 12:11:45 PM
Man do these sound good.!Great bass from a relatively small speaker with a pretty light weight woofer. Was thinking about doing the crossover's before, but now I don't think they can sound much better. You can find these cheap in need of some love and the refoam is easy and the pots usually clean up pretty well. Pick up a pair, they'll make you smile! I'll post pics after I get the new grill fabric on.

They are great speakers. I have two sets to do myself.

The 2Ax I used to have had cloth surround woofers.  Sold them to a guy in Colorado.  Yes, he paid the shipping.

I know most of us out here in Fayette County don't own a camera, but, a few pictures would not suck.

Good job on the project!
