Just snagged this also. I have been hammering it for the last hour. Very nice amp. It has been several years since I have had one of these.

I acquired one of these a few months ago...black version. I must say it has the same sonic quality as the rest of my Carver amps and performed great. I could't believe the power Bob put in that small chassis! As soon as I move my system to a larger room with my new rack I purchased, I'll probably use it to power a sub mono. If anyone has the chance to pick one of these up, do it!!! :D

Thanks Kingman.
Wow, all that in that itty bitty amp :o  Leave it to Bob Carver to make that happen.

Update....OCCD has two of these now.  They would look pretty cool sitting beside each other on someones audio rack!  BTW 500 watts in bridged mode! :o

It's a very difficult job not to be handled by amateurs. Send them to me and I will take care of cleaning them. :P :P :P

Also like my dad said leave it to Bob Carver to put that much power in to something that small.

I have 2 M400t's also and both work well but I will send them to Rita, one at a time just to keep her going. Of course even though they work they will benefit from a going over.

I used these bridged to drive my ALS Silvers & they did great. As good as my Sunfire really.

They are the most under rated Carver amps although Bob said they were his favorite (If you pinned him down) because they put Carver Corp. on the map.

Just my .02
