Title: 7C7 tube?
Post by: stratavox on January 10, 2010, 09:05:07 PM
Hi all- I'm looking for a little help with a Masco Pa from the 40's-50's...I know, I know, NOT hi-fi, but I 'm looking EVERYWHERE I can for some info. I need a replacement for the 7c7, something a little less of a hassle to replace/service. Anyone? Thanks in advance...

According to my Tube substitution book, the closest sub is a 6sj7.

You did not by any chance pick up an old pa from phils tv recently?

Thanks guys- no, not from Phil's. I'm looking at a scratch build...and I did see all the Ebay availabilities, but again, I'm trying to avoid using the 7c7 and it's Locktal socket. Appreciate the input-
