8/19/17 3:00 to 6:00 pm I have well over 150 albums that need new homes. Please come and get them. Condition range from NM to G.... take any and as many as you want. Also have a great 3.9 cf subwoofer box that needs a new home.
For any of you that are coming, I am always looking for/ buying VG or better condition albums. Actively looking for albums from the following artists: Stanley Jordan, John Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, Bill Withers, Porcupine Tree, Marvin Gaye, Funkadelics, Grateful Dead, James Brown, Albert King, any interesting Blues or Motown albums. I also buy Jazz albums, but must be something interesting and a great recording. CONDITION must be scratch free and NOT over played. Also looking for +25ft long high quality speaker cables.

Awesome. Do you like live stuff?
-
depends on the recording...... must be a good recording.
also meant to add Dexter Gordon to the list.

Dexter Gordon Rules. I have his 'GO' cd, fantastic.
-
have not heard that one..... "yet" lol Bring it with you.... or a digital copy.... would be appreciated :)

I have about 300 + albums in the garage, that are NOT in the free bins, but they are mostly open for trades....
Also looking for Humble Pie (a very clean copy of Rock'in at the Fillmore would be nice, or their earlier albums) and some music by Beth Hart.

I had a splendid time. Thanks as always, Jim.

yep, fun was had by all :-) Nice get objective opinions and demo the equipment. Confirmation of what I'm hearing is a very helpful/good thing.... Will let you guys know when new speaker cables are selected/installed/ broken in?. Would love to find a better pair for the garage, but they are 25ft runs and I'm not investing too much more into that system. I have to keep reminding myself that "it is a garage" lol All albums and sub box are out of the garage yea!

Had a good time as well. Jim's KEF's are impressive in size and sound. I'm more a traditional 2 channel guy for music, but his setup makes a good argument for having the options of 2, 2.1, and "sound from everywhere".

The sub is back to life...not th most elegant design but I pulled the plate amp from a Polk sub. Made a mdf "gasket" which will need sealed, but the thing is pounding away in the garage. I'll move it into the tv setup later.
Thanks!!
