Title: guild new englander 3 channel tube amp console pull
Post by: non-prophet on October 09, 2017, 06:04:07 PM
If i wasn't so busy, i would definitely rebuild this one.  I am 90% sure it was from the guild new englander.  I am keeping the tubes (telefunken and mullards).  It needs cleaned and the transformer covers are rusty.  I will post pictures later.  It uses 4 el84 tubes and 3 12au7.  The rectifier 5au4 (rca) tube is included.  I am guessing how this works is the right and left channels are single ended and the third (best guess for bass) is push pull with a larger transformer.  Fantastic design for a cheap tube hi efficiency set up.  I normally do not post prices, but, i want someone i know to get this.  $25

Pm me, pictures later if it doesn't sell immediately.

If I didn't already have 20 projects.

This would be cool for a tube computer speaker set up.   Tiny speakers on the desk and a small sub on the floor.   Office Audiophile!
