Title: snake oil
Post by: non-prophet on December 10, 2017, 09:56:32 PM
Because i know how all of you love your tweaks.  I bought an 8 pack of Audio Prism Quietline mk ii (NOS) and only need 6.  These work in parallel, use in the second outlet, the first being your power conditioner (more snake oil!).  I can prove they work, just not audibly, at least not in my set up.  I have a noise sniffer and there was clearly a better reading with the quietline plugged in.  Super cheap tweak, i would suggest it if you have a non-dedicated line, use fluorescent fixtures or bulbs and fans.  $20/each. Pm me if interested.  Thank you for looking

I also have 3 NOS Sumiko microdampers CD damping mat.  You place these on top of your cd, single disc players only!  I opened one and the edges seem slightly warped to me.  I think these retailed for $89.  $10/each pm me and thank you for looking.

Power conditioners are NOT snake oil.   I would have taken one of those just for giggles if I hadn't been beaten to them.   That's okay, that game was worth it!

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the CD dampers are snake oil, but at that price why not see for yourself?   If I still played CDs I might.
