Title: McIntosh Music
Post by: Sir Thrift-a-Lot on November 22, 2018, 11:35:37 PM
I don't know if any of you stream internet radio, either on your computers or your systems, but I've been enjoying the Tune-In app on my new Onkyo receiver.   While scrolling around, I found this station.   Yes, it's that McIntosh.   It's a high quality stream that features mostly classic rock but has other great sounding things sprinkled in.   So far I really like the mix and suspect many people here would as well.   Besides the Tune In all, they also have phone apps and a built in player for playing directly from your PC.

Will check it out.   The stream for Radio Swiss Jazz is also good,  BTW.  We should maybe have a message tracking those.

I also have in my favorites some stations called "Audiophile Audition".   I have their rock, jazz and classical stations saved.   In Tune In they stream at 320kbs, but from their site in Foobar they have a flac stream.

This page has links to lots of high bit rate streams.   Most of it is electronica unfortunately, but I've found a couple good things here...
