Do any of you have a running car that you are looking to sell cheap. My daughter has a little money saved and wants to buy a car. She is in school and doesn't need to get under any more payments, so I want something she can pay cash for (and perhaps I can help her a little as well). Thanks.

Just to follow up, she found a car on her own. A 2001 Camry that is inspected and seems to run good. I think it would be hard to do better for a grand. She's been driving it for about a week now and has had no issues.

Had my 2003 for over 287k miles. Very reliable cars.

Yeah, it's only got 160. I've never owned a Toyota but my understanding was that the mileage was about half lifespan for those cars. No rust either.

Liked mine so good I bought an Avalon and am still driving it. Big bang for the $.
-
I think she did well. Time will tell.

Congrats to her. If maintained those cars can keep going and going. I once had an Accord with 165K and thought it could another 100k or more. Then it got totaled in the garage - 2 1/2 feet of water. Ironically I was driving through the Arizona desert as it happened.

Those are almost indestructible, good choice. My daughter-in-law has a 1997 and refuses to give it up to get something newer.

Shhhh. Gina is quite adept at destructing.
iPhones are nearly indestructible as well and she seems to go through about one a week.
