My first attempt at a mod

I used LED bulbs instead of incondescents on my new Carver TFM-35x. I used 4 5mm bright white LEDs (2 per meter) in series with a 1K ohm resistor. It could be a tad brighter, but I think it looks pretty cool. Here's a pic...
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Besides, when the lights are low as you listen to your prime picks late evening with your beverage of chioce, they won't be distracting.
