A modified Carver  C-19 and C-1 were used in that setup.

Most impressive and I'll bet it warms the room in more than one way.  I didn't see a pre-amp or phono section.

You are correct, when I use both set's of amps it does get warm, but Winter is on the way.

As for the PreAmp & Phono, in the picture you will see in the bottom left hand corner a Silver Carver C-4000 PreAmp
As for a Phono stage not shown we had a Audiomat 1 Phono PreAmp.

At home, I am using the Silver 7 Tube's for the High's and the Bob"s Cherry 260's for the lows diving a set of B&W 802D's
it works very well.
