Replying to Private Messages
« on: December 13, 2009, 01:57:53 PM »
Just a heads-up here...

If you receive a PM from the board via email, please remember that if you hit
"reply" in your email client it does not make it back to the sender, it is sent to
the forum admin (me).

It states this fact in any emails the forum sends, but clicking
respond to email is second nature so I understand that its easy to overlook.

When responding to a PM, simply click the link that is in the body of the email
message

I've been trying to forward messages when it happens but I
don't want to be the reason that a message doesn't make it
to the intended recipient either.

I'm checking the board software to see if theres a way to better deal with this.
In the meantime I may setup another email account with an
auto-responder to bounce emails back.

It does. To get a copy of your message, Check the box "Save a copy in my outbox" in the PM page. You'll then find your sent messages in the outbox.

Again, I'm not complaining; I'm just trying to help prevent any foul ups.
