Beer steins
« on: November 03, 2014, 11:46:32 AM »
I win. HA. My father in law came into work one morning to find his coworker dismantling this to scrap the brass top. Woah, woah, woah, wtf are you doing??? Poor guy had no idea he could have sold the thing for 50X what the brass would of got him. He saved it and gave it to me for my birthday. This thing is 3' tall and is quite heavy.

Correct 3 feet. Solid ceramic and brass. Best I can figure out they made these to give away during stein holding contests.

It's a guitar amp. I know how to turn it on…not sure it's been on since my daughter was born 3.5 yrs ago. Maybe this winter I'll get back to that.

My guess is the stein is about 35lbs.
