My unicorn

This did not take nearly as long as I thought it would.  The Luxman 2003 3 way tube crossover circa 1972-1976, retailed for $425.  I got real lucky, 120v factory built model, these are more common as 100v Luxkits.  Decent shape, some silkscreen wear and missing the power button cover.  All 8 tubes are National (England) 12au7, that is a bonus.  Currently set up as a two way, cut at 1000hz.  All four board are in there and after some soldering I can change them to any frequency, after that it could use a couple new caps (I see some bulging in two of them).  Thank you and enjoy, some pics.

First tubed crossover I have a decent chance of ever auditioning.  Looks to be in nice shape!  Congrats on the score Nick.

Tom, it does, unless i want to chase their super-expensive turntables or cd player.  I have no plans to, but, i always keep my eyes open.

Pepe, i like the idea of crossovers, next logical step to improve my systems. In this case, i thought the crossover was the best way to introduce tubes in this set up.  I passed a couple times on the luxman cl35 iii and cl32, tube preamps.  I am glad i went with the crossover, now that i have it.  Now, i need to find the cutoff frequency for my kef 105/3
