Yeah, that works, with the black dial face.   The silver amp with the blue meters doesn't IMHO.

I just grabbed a pair of clean CV D3s for $10 at the thrift.   Of course they need foam, but even the risers look good.   I've been curious to hear a pair for a while and if I don't like them (which is my suspicion, the venerable piezo tweeter and I don't get along well) I don't expect to have any trouble getting $100 out of them.

Then again, my eyes told me that the Rectilinear Highboys were going to be awful, but I loved them.   I wish I had had the room to keep them.

I have not heard a Mac tube yet either.  I am sure it will happen someday.

Hopefully in my listening room!

I can't remember if Scott had one or not.   There was so much gear that I'm actually not sure what I did and didn't hear.

I know I'm probably looking shaggy and can use a haircut but don't really need a chair too.

Having an antique barbers chair is actually pretty cool. They are very comfortable but friggin unbelievably heavy. I have one from the mid 1800s from a shop in my hometown.  It was quite a fun project to restore.

If those belong to who I think they do, he is an occasional poster here and would probably let you come hear them if he doesn't sell them first.   I would have liked to see one picture with a grill on.   Those don't look particularly Jerome friendly.

If you venture north of the city, you're very welcome to stop by for a listen!  I just set them back up yesterday and now I'm waffling on actually selling them.  They crave power, but sound surprisingly good on my restored Scott 222.
