December 5th 2009 "meeting"!

Here we go again.  Another two weeks have almost gone by.  Hope you all can spend some time and hang out and listen to some great audio equipment and what ever floats our boat to music.

I will only be there for a few hours. :(  But I know all of you will show up and make me feal bad that I was not able to stick around.

I propose that we select a few pieces of gear and audio selections that will featured
for the evening.

 Gilmour Live in Gdansk is on the slate. Operated through a Carver C-19 tube hybrid preamp. A pair of TFM-35's operating in mono. A C-9 holography unit, a Carver SD/A-490t tube CD player, running into a pair of Carver Amazing Platinum MK IV speakers. How does that sound for starters. :P Where we go from there is up to you guys.

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.
