Joe Walsh  "the smoker you drink, the player you get"

Surprisingly good recording and the music has aged very well, or at least
Better than I expected,
Original DSX-50140 album

I have a quad vinyl of that.   I wish I had a quad system to play it on.

I thought quad albums were suppose to sound pretty good
Played in stereo?
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

Duane Allman   An Anthology Vol II    Fantastic album with a who's who of great guests : Aretha Franklin , Herbie Mann, king Curtis, Boz Scaggs, Lulu,

Album leans toward the bluesy side of Rock... Great album if you find it buy it. Recordings are a mixed bag of great to fair in late 60s early 70s tech

Certainly NOT hifi...

Adrenaline O.D - The wacky Hijinks of..

Debut full length for NJ based skate punk band.  Awful recording and not the greatest songwriting, but a LOTTA attitude. : )

Marvin Stamm. (jazz trumpeter)
"Mystery Man"

Interestingly (at least to trumpeters) my favorite Bb trumpet and flugelhorn are both French Bessons designed for Marvin Stamm by Zig Kanstul in the early 90's. I bought both mine new around '93. Not sure about the trumpet but it appears Marvin still plays that flugelhorn. Sure hope I heal enough from my surgery to play again. I haven't been able to play much for almost 5 years now. Right now it's way too painful. Sob, sob, sob...

Jazz programing on WESA FM 90.5 HD-2 on my bedroom system while I'm trying to sleep. Music is great but as usual falling asleep is a problem!

Interestingly STaL introduced me to FM HD when I complained about losing our only jazz station in Pittsburgh when WDUQ was sold. WQED classical also broadcasts 2 FM HD channels. One is their standard broadcast, the other one is exclusively Pgh Symphony Orch and it's awesome.  STaL even loaned me a portable device to see if I liked FM HD. I got hooked on it.

Funny but the bedroom speakers I'm listening to STaL hooked me up with. Advent Minis. For their size they sound great.  I almost feel like he's in my bedroom...what a disgusting thought (LOL)!

BJ bought me a really nice 100watt/ch Sony receiver at a great price from Tom a couple years ago for my bedroom. It's a bit overkill but I had to have remote control and it has a built in sleep timer which is awesome & I use it every night.
