Not exactly RIGHT NOW but it's been all about Alan Parsons Project today. I am actually pretty new to their sound but I am already a huge fan.

The white album like never before. Testing out my dad's new McCormack pre thank to Pepe along with the new cart from Rgpit and the Audio Research tube phono pre. Man does it sound real!!!!
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Your post reminded me I have never played the White Album over my CRS-3 - so just put it on from the "Mono Box"
Sounds great - lots of energy.

If you are a Beatles fan - give a listen to the CD or DVD - ACROSS THE UNIVERSE

Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (the album, and the song, which is coincidentally on the album).

All the Girls Love Alice, Dirty Little Girl, Grey Seal, Roy Rogers, and especially Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding seem to bring out the best of my system. Perhaps the Para-dig-em sound is just right for those gritty guitar driven and early valve synth sounds.
