Title: Cassette Tapes...
Post by: gdv on April 29, 2020, 11:27:20 AM
I can always use a little extra money!  :)  So I was thinking of possibly "trying" to sell on Craigslist (maybe even epay)...

I have many used cassette tapes, mainly 90 minutes.

Also mainly...
Maxell XL II, Sony UX-ES, & TDK SA's
Some...
Maxell UR, Sony HF, & TDK D's

Any idea of how much I might get?  $5 for 20 tapes?  Is it even worth trying?

If any of you forum "guys" need any, PM me...

TIA,
George

The type II you may get a buck a piece for, especially if they have the tabs unpunched and the j-cards/labels unused.   I have a bulk eraser you can borrow if you want to get them back to blank before you sell.   That also helps.   Only a very few type I have any real market value.

I still have a case of UDXL2s I keep around for, I dunno, 2nd coming.

but I picked up 30-40 of them recorded that I sell in the store for a buck each as they can be recorded over and well, they just dont exist.  not sure if anyone makes decent tape product anymore...just regular scrap.
