Boyd & Blair, where have you gone?
« on: November 17, 2011, 07:36:34 PM »
Over the weekend while Tom was on vacation in the hospital, my bottle of vodka vanished.
Does anyone know what happened to it?

Man alone can not commandeer a forklift.

For this, he needs spirits.  ;D

The culprit has been identified.
Their name sounds like DAVE.

Ohh, I could have told you that.

Whenever Dave shows up with the neck brace and cane, hide your booze.  :P

He was on his way out the door Saturday night because he had church in the morning.  He was asked if he ever tried Crystal Head vodka.  His eyes light up like a christmas tree and he broke into the bottle.  He stayed at least another 2 hours.

Dave had a bottle of Crystal Head?

It's for reasons like this that I really miss the meetings. Remember the night I formulated my theory: When the neck brace is on, the inhibitions are off. :)

Dave promised to replace the bottle, but its been going on 3 Weeks now. we shall see...
We may need to put a liquor cabinet in down there to protect our liquid assets.  :D

SD you're dead on with the neck brace and cane. Don't know if he was wearing them that night though
I think only Anders was there when the assault occurred.
He was not keeping an eye on Dave and he took full advantage of the situation.

Bye bye bottle :(

Well no Anders prolly wasn't keeping an eye on Dave as Anders is usually working on stuff, even during meetings.   Hope it gets replaced, I've heard him twice in the last two weeks say he would do so.

Well Dave kept his promise and arrived last night bottle in hand.
The problem is he only brought ONE bottle. Before too long, it was opened and Dave was drinking from it.
Fearing the worst, I hid it from him.  :'( The gesture kind of loses its value if you're going to guzzle the whole thing yourself, Dave.

Undeterred though, he moved his sights to Nick's defenseless bottle of gin.  On ice - gak.
Apparently it had been victimized in the past too; the level was not where expected according to Tom.
It was quickly sequestered to spare what was left of it.

I think we may need to arrange for an intervention.

I really don't know Dave as well as you guys do, but I agree on the Intervention, or place a limit, or something.  I worry about him a bit.

So lock up your vodka, and lock up your gin, Lock up your wine cabinet and run for your life!  Because Dave will drink your bottle dry!
Got Carver?
