Friend of mine had one, it would slow down about 2/3 into a side with 180 gram records. He looked and looked for a fix/fixer and eventually sold it. It was a great sounding table, but sometimes the "proprietary'ness" of them is too much for some people.

Next item:   sherwood S-7210.  it appears I started on it august 2018.  I have the amp inputs from the volume control removed...I recall some issue where it was switching left and right over to one channel...perhaps one channel has outputs out?  (looks like old to3, likely many to3p replacements today.

Free.  all parts I think (incl knobs and feet) are inside.

also free - a completely empty, but intact SX450 case.  got chassis?

PS - while these are all free, will take a donation of the 100K ohm double volume control with a 1/4" splined shaft...must have loudness tap on it... (for a STA-78 I just got)

now add a kenwood KR4600.  I have no knobs for it, and it does mostly work...it might just be the finals that are out or a fuse...I see no evidence of any electical destruction, just faint cross talk in stereo from the tuner in headphones...

next up, pioneer sx750, intact cept for the parts it has donated - I am parting this out, tell me what you want and make an offer.

volume control gone (its in the STA78) and the faceplate leaves tomorrow...and a single switch cover that was missing.

more turntables I dont wanna deal with coming this weekend....and a reel to reel stereo center (semi portable, has built in amp and speakers - $25)

I am the Anders. So all the Sams Photofacts are gone ?
I'm right now looking for parts for a Kenwood KR-850 or KR-865.

Anders!   I hope you stick around for a while.   We've been sorely missing your expertise.   I still marvel at how you immediately heard I had hooked up one of the tweeters backwards at the one swap meet.   Lots of people listened to those speakers.   You were the only one who heard the problem and correctly identified it.

sorry I dont check this often, no the photofacts are still here, do you have a folder number?

also, parting out an SX750

the faceplate/glass is gone, the heat sink, sockets, molex are gone, the volume control is gone.  all the boards are virginal with original parts and good traces.  I have the amp driver unwrapped and out...more available.

also, adding in the sams AR books  I have 19-70 contiguous and scattered above that (plus have TSMs left and a couple MHFs)

need to sell em b4 they go to auction...

I don't have a folder number. I thought you said you were selling all for $20.
I may have found the problem with the Kenwood receiver which is a shorted diode but i'm afraid there will be more problems.

Thanks Sir Thrifty. I seem to be even more sensitive to out of phase sound now. Heard a pair of KLH 6's out of phase at Jerry's records and I thought my head would explode ! My preamp finally blew up after the power supply mods I did to it 40 years ago. Audio Research SP6. I have most of the new parts in it now. Using a solid state Rappaport preamp till its done. Also I have an ARC SP6B in its box as a backup but I bet it needs recapped.

Thanks, I'm still interested in having a little audio party at my place when it's safe and I get my preamp back together.

I'll be there if it's at all possible.
